Garden Club of Fleming Island he Garden Club of Fleming Island shall be a non-profit, charitable, educational association and shall study horticulture, landscape design, and the artistic use of plant materials. In addition, the members of the Club shall explore and promote an interest in the art of gardening, and will contribute their knowledge and resources to a minimum of one annual civic project. Members will also cooperate with and support the projects and objectives of the Florida Federation of Garden Clubs, Inc. and the National Garden Clubs, Inc.

This year, the President of the National Garden Club has called upon the individual clubs to “Plant America, Feed America”.  According to latest statistics from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, 33.8 million people in America are food insecure,  million of them are children.  

Garden Club of Fleming Island plans to build and maintain a vegetable garden in order to supply our local food pantries.
